When should I arrive?
Any time that works for you. If you’d like to ease in, come around 10:50 AM for the 11:00 AM worship service. Families with children often arrive by 9:30 AM for Breakfast for Kids.
Where do I go?
Head toward the main entrance — someone will be near the door to greet you, point you to the sanctuary, and walk your children to their class if you’d like.
What happens on Saturday?
Breakfast for Kids at 9:30 AM, Faith Growth Classes for all ages at 9:45 AM, and our worship service at 11:00 AM.
What should I wear?
Come as you are. You’ll see everything from jeans to suits, and no one will think twice either way.
Where do my children go?
Children have classes by age at 9:45 AM: Infant–4, Kindergarten–1st Grade, and 2nd–5th Grade, with youth from 6th grade through high school. You’re welcome to stay with your child, and children are always welcome in worship.
Where do I park?
There is on-site parking at 220 S Chapel Ave. When you enter the driveway from Chapel Avenue, continue past the gates. The driveway opens into a two-level parking lot, and you’re welcome to park anywhere. The main entrance is through the wrought-iron gate.
What happens during worship?
Music, prayer, Scripture, and a Bible-based message. You’re free to simply sit and take it in — there’s nothing you need to do or know beforehand.

FIRST SATURDAY POTLUCK
On the first Saturday of every month, we share a potluck meal together after worship. Guests are always invited to join us — you don’t need to bring anything.
If you’d like to contribute, side dishes are always welcome, but there’s absolutely no pressure.

You’ll know some faces before you arrive.
Pastor Celeste Harrison leads our church family here in Alhambra. Her hope is that when you walk through our doors, you don’t just feel welcomed — you feel like you belong.
Alongside her, you’ll meet a congregation of people who worship together, care for one another, and serve our neighborhood.
Good questions, honest answers.
Do I need to be a Seventh-day Adventist to attend?
Not at all. Everyone is welcome, whatever your background or where you are with faith.
Why do you worship on Saturday?
Seventh-day Adventists keep the biblical Sabbath, which runs from Friday sunset to Saturday sunset — so Saturday is our day of worship and rest together.
Will I be singled out as a visitor?
No. We’re glad you’re here, and we’ll greet you warmly, but you won’t be asked to stand up or introduce yourself.
Is there anything for my children?
Yes — Breakfast for Kids at 9:30 AM and age-based classes at 9:45 AM, plus children are always welcome in worship.
Can I watch a service before visiting?
Yes. Our worship service is streamed online, so you can get a feel for things first.
How can I get in touch beforehand?
Call us at 626-289-6137 or email graceplace37@yahoo.com — we’d love to hear from you.
